TEACHER QUALIFICATIONS
All GCS teachers possess California
multi−subject credentials and meet No Child
Left Behind highly−qualified standards. Four
out of seven of the current classroom teachers
are graduates of the rigorous and competitive
Teach for America training program. All GCS
teachers are selected for their demonstrated
academic success and for their common vision
and commitment to providing engaging and
challenging, standard−based curriculum to a
traditionally underserved and underachieving
student population.
