Curriculum

For the core academic subjects, GCS uses the following Curriculum programs that have been officially adopted by the California Department of Education:

Humanities:

• History Ailve! (TCI)
• Prentice Hall Writing and Grammar (Pearson)
• Wordly Wise 3000 (EPS)

Math:

• California Mathematics (CGP Education)

Science:

• Focus on Science (CPO Science)

In addition, materials and assessments are selected, modified, and refined by classroom teachers to supplement existing curriculum programs and to aid with cross-content and grade-level articulation.
